What is a White Card in NSW?
We often get asked, exactly what is a White Card in NSW? Read on below to find out!
Anyone working in the construction industry in Australia must complete a general construction safety induction training to fulfil a mandatory federal requirement.
The course “Work Safely in the Construction Industry (CPCCWHS1001)” educates people working in construction on general site safety issues.
This training can only be delivered by a Registered Training Organisation and on successful completion of the course, a small credit card sized accreditation is issued, this little card is called a White Card. It is this identification card that you will need when working on a construction site anywhere in Australia.
The White Card is nationally accredited, so you won’t need to repeat the training if you move to another state or territory or if you work across borders.
