A Californian worker has died after being stung by a swarm of bees. The man was apparently evaluating a parking lot when he accidentally struck an underground hive.
This incident comes shortly after an Australian worker was stung 92 times by bees at an old mining site. These incidents highlight the danger associated with construction sites especially when there is a risk of bees or other pests attacking workers. Employers should take all risks into consideration before work can begin.
