According to a post on Sourceable.net there are areas of opportunity emerging within the South Australian construction sector which could see the industry recover from its dismal performance over the past few years.
Although 2014 was a bad year for construction in the state, for civil and non-residential construction as well as employment, according to industry bodies “areas of promise” are beginning to emerge.
It has been predicted that the state’s construction activity will return to healthy levels of growth by 2017, the Housing Industry Association has said.
The Australian Construction Industry Forum (ACIF) suggests the rate of growth for non-residential construction will rise by 13 per cent this year, which is a good start for recovery.
