Tradies and companies interested in working on the Queens Wharf Development, the $3.6 billion project just 40 minutes from Brisbane, have been invited to register on the website www.queenswharfbrisbane.com.au .
There are more than 2000 construction jobs that must be filled on the project which will involve the excavation of over 450,000 cubic metres of material and the construction of a 172 metre concrete wall that will form a watertight underground barrier separating the Queen’s Wharf basement from the Brisbane River.
The fields being targeted for recruitment include hardware supply, painting, carpentry, roofing, steel works, glazing and metal work.
