A man in Pennant Hills was rushed to hospital after falling through a roof at a residential property.
The 45 year old man had been working on the roof, replacing skylight sheeting when he fell approximately 3 metres onto the deck below.
The man was airlifted to hospital after suffering suspected head and limb injuries.
He received treatment at the scene before arriving at Westmead Hospital in a stable condition.
This incident highlights how quickly things go wrong and why fall protection controls are so crucial. Remember that even work from relatively low heights requires protection because falls even from these heights can be serious.
