A man was seriously injured after an excavator he was operating fell 7 metres off a bridge in Southeast Queensland.
The man in his sixties was flown to hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
The incident occurred when he was dismantling a timber bridge near Nanango when part of the bridge collapsed resulting in the excavator tipping over and falling about seven metres into a dry creek.
The excavator landed upside down and the police and emergency services had to extricate the man from the excavator.
