You never know what you’re going to find everytime a site is excavated, one example was the recent skeletal remains discovered by construction workers at the WA Museum construction site.
Workers discovered the human remains on James Street in Northbridge on Wednesday, following which the site was shut down.
Homicide detectives have now launched an investigation and the remains have been sent for forensic testing.
The museum was erected in 1899 and before it housed convicts sent to WA to work.
