A construction worker on Sydney’s north shore has been injured in an incident involving a forklift.
Reports say the forklift rolled on top of the man and a specialist operation team from NSW Ambulance had to be called in. Emergency personnel found the man, in his mid 30s had been driving a forklift down a ramp in the building’s basement when it rolled. He was crushed in the process.
The man sustained injuries to his chest, arm and a punctured lung.
He was taken to Royal North Shore Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
