A worker has sustained minor back injuries after falling on a construction site in Melbourne’s CBD.
The man had to be rescued by MFB who confirmed that fire crews were attempting a “high angle rescue”, they also described it as a “delicate operation”. He remained conscious throughout the operation.
The man apparently fell between scaffolding and other work equipment at the site on the corner of Market and Flinders streets.
The circumstances that led to the fall are not yet known however WorkSafe was on the scene.
