If you’re involved in cross border construction projects, such as the one beginning on the ACT/NSW border called the Ginninderry project, your general construction induction card (White Card) is valid. In other words you will not need to repeat the training in order to work in both states.
This particular project will create 250 jobs in its first stage alone and will deliver 6500 new homes in the ACT. The project will involve 30 stages of work planned on either side of the NSW/ACT border. In total 11,500 new homes will be completed.
