A construction firm responsible for the dirt spill on the Sydney Harbour Bridge over the Australia Day weekend has been hit with an additional 28 road defects on its fleet.
The incident that took place on January 22nd, when the rear door of the truck trailer became unlatched while travelling across the bridge. The truck spilled 20 tonnes of landfill over 3km, causing major traffic delays.
Authorities expressed their concern that the company’s loading practices were questionable.
The driver was also charged for failing to comply with loading requirements.
